Hello my name is Andria I have a invention my mobile mom's I'm trying to raise cash to get my invention idea up and going thanks for your help and this opportunity .
Churchill does what other rescues won’t do: they take in the impossible medical and behavior cases and spend all the time and resources they can to get them well and put them into a happy, forever home. They are not only relentless, but they are transparent. Every donor knows exactly where their money is going and knows why money is going where it is. A fantastic charity!!
The Churchill foundation matched two wonderful health challenged potties with us. Bugsy and BB are living a great life. Follow up training is a godsend. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful people giving their time and efforts saving dogs that everyone else has given up on. I currently have adopted two wonderful pitbulls who both had medical issues. They are incredible family members. Currently one is and potentially the other will be a nationally certified Therapy Dog. LOVE this group!
Great rescue! Supports their animals FOR LIFE! Always looks for the best match for the animal and human. I'm thankful to have my pit from TC

The Churchill Foundation rescues major medical and behavior dogs from the local animal shelter. They find adopters for life! If an adopter can no longer care for the dog, The Churchill Foundation takes the dog back into rescue and finds an appropriate home. Once a Churchill Foundation dog, always a Churchill Foundation dog. Even with the high vet bills that accumulate from major medical expenses, the Churchill Foundation is able to fund raise to get them paid off by the end of the year. Just an awesome Rescue group!
Fostered several dogs for TCF and they could not have been better. Genuinely care about each dog and their particular needs and rather than shy from the ones that are harder to place they specialize in them and making sure the proper families get continued support and training. Could not have asked for a better rescue to foster through!
They are a great organization who take on the hard behavior cases and the hard medical cases. Love how they go all in to help out a dog and some cats. Their forever foster Beluga is my favorite.
I have volunteered for this rescue for several years now and I am constantly amazed by this group. Taking in dogs with health and behavioral issues that no other rescue wants to deal with. They are absolutely amazing! !

I’ve known about TCF since the beginning. I recently saw a kitten on their fb page and knew I had to have him. The adoption application is easy and straightforward. Everything went so smoothly and I’m so happy I was able to adopt my kitten, Cosmos, and make him part of my family. I highly recommend considering adopting from TCF when you’re ready for a new family member.
The Churchill Foundation goes above and beyond to ensure the animals in their care are placed with the best fosters and families. The training and support they offer to the adopters is amazing.
I was lucky enough to get the love of my life from Churchill Foundation. I know a cat. Lol. They are willing to help out all animals. They truly go out of their way to help our little furry friends. We are blessed to have them around.
As a local small pet supply business I enjoy working with The Churchill Foundation very much! It’s hard to find rescues that are legit in Las Vegas. I love that they are really about the animals they save. They rescue smart. Treating each dog or cat as an individual and not just a number. Love you guys and gals and all the hard work you put into helping make animal lives better!
I’ve known Lara, the founder of The Churchill Foundation, for years. I’ve volunteered services and was well aware of their impact in the community. Then I saw a picture of the cutest pup, a medical rescue (3-legged dog) and we fostered him with a big fail; Finn was ours for the rest of his life!
He’s traveled the country with us, just turned 6 and has improved our lives in numerous ways.
TCF not only rescues those dogs (and cats) that others overlook, they go above and beyond, working with both animals, fosters and adoptees to ensure what’s best for all. Without them, our Finn wouldn’t be here, being an awesome rescue and breed ambassador.
We were able to give Ayssue, a 6 year young flat gift collie/Australian Shepard a forever home this past June. My sister was the instigator for this opportunity. Lara and Myra visited Ausdies new home in North Western WI this fall.
Kind people who are rigorous in their efforts to save, treat (if needed), train, and adopt out dogs so that their lives will be wonderful, safe, and healthy!

The Churchill Foundation saved our lives! And Murphy's too. We are long-time Wheatie lovers and when our old Wheaten died, we wanted to expand our family. So, we rescued two male Soft-Coated Wheaten terriers from the same litter, Alvin and Murphy. As they grew older, we discovered that Murphy had severe fear aggression and when they were about 1.5 years old, he bit two people when we went hiking. Luckily, no one was hurt and Murphy was not put down. But it opened our eyes to the danger of our dog and how much we all constantly lived in fear that he would hurt us or someone else without warning, especially his brother Alvin. We knew we had to do something about it. We started with behavior training, which helped, but wasn't enough. So the trainer referred us to the Churchill Foundation. Lara evaluated Murphy and saw hope. She worked with us and with Murphy for weeks and eventually found a foster family and then a forever family for Murphy. And now he's like a completely different dog. He needed a different environment and a family that was more experienced with his behaviors. And now he's happy and he's made another family happy. We will always be so thankful to the Churchill Foundation for the gift they've given us and Murphy.
I've worked with a number of nonprofit animal rescues that often allow their passions to get in the way of their mission. Churchill Foundation is comprised of a number of passionate people who also have a long-term vision for ensuring its adopted dogs have the best chance of permanency in their adoptive homes. With certified trainers that continue to work with the families, and who themselves continue to develop their skills, the Churchill Foundation is the rescue with a plan.

Having been around a lot of nonprofits, and my fair share of animal rescues, I have seen them suffer for lack of direction, vision, mismanagement, or otherwise well-meaning board members lacking the time to devote to the organization. The Churchill Foundation is one of the most active, well-organized rescues I've encountered and their fearless leader, Lara, is second to none. Never one to shy away from a challenge, they take in some of the most hopeless cases and turn them around for all to see. They are truly inspiring stories and are well-deserving of your support.
My family adopted the sweetest puppy dog from The Churchill Foundation in December. From the very first correspondence they were extremely helpful and attentive. Shelby was a Parov puppy and they took such wonderful care of her until we were allowed to bring her home. We are so grateful for the love they gave her.
We adopted our Macy Grace from Churchill 2-1/2 years ago. She had been taken in by them at about a week or so of age, bottle fed in a great foster home where she was exposed to cats and other dogs. Long story short, Macy has been a great addition to our home - thanks in very large part to the chance that the Churchill Foundation gave her at life. They take in the most challenging cases and have some absolutely amazing outcomes.
This organization was so professional and they have the best FOSTER mom you could ask for. We met our beautiful silly Samantha at the dog park with her Foster Mom and fell in love. They had a 2 week trial period before you decided if you were ready to commit to giving the dog a forever home. When we said yes, they made it very easy and everything was done on line due to Covid-19. They mailed all her information to us and we were able to take it to our Vet for her records. They really care about the animals and followed up several times to see how things were going. We couldn't imagine our life without our silly Sam. Thank You Churchill for all you do....
We found our amazing little girl Kai with Churchill. They made the adoption process so easy and it was nice to see them do the house check before we could adopt her. They also have remained close and available for any questions or support we’ve ever needed. Love them and will support them with all the work they do saving these amazing pups!
Churchill CARES about each dog they place. They help dogs find forever homes and will go above and beyond to make sure the dog’s placement is perfect!
I came across The Churchill foundation through fostering a wonderful little pup who came very close to being a foster fail. My experience working with this rescue was nothing but positive. Lara clearly has the very best interest for the pups and checked in regularly for the duration of my fostering. I’ve worked with other local rescues and Churchill foundation was informative, organized, and Not in a rush to place a dog, rather fine the perfect match and home. Til this day I am still in touch with my foster babies new mama and we have park dates so that I can visit her! Thanks Churchill foundation! Keep up the good work!
The Churchill Foundation helped us find our forever sweetie, Smalls. Smalls was quite a handful- he had a lot of trauma and illness and we were his 4th home. He didn’t trust people and was extremely skiddish about being touched. They walked us through his past and helped us love him. He is the best little guy - now sleeping with us, sitting on our laps (or on my husband’s shoulder like a parrot) and has gotten better every year about letting us let and cuddle. We are so grateful!

TCF is how we found our precious baby - he was a street-rescue with many medical issues. He had been to 3 homes previous to ours and they never gave up on him. We found him and he is thriving and so happy. We are so grateful for their dedication to match the right families with the right animals. Thank you!!
Lara and the group at The Churchill Foundation are amazing!!! They have saved so many lives having taken in so many "high risk" dogs that other shelters and groups are equipped to rehabilitate. They've given so many dogs that extra chance at finding the right home environment.
I have worked with The Churchill Foundation as a volunteer; the devotion and hardwork they put in to each dog rescued is amazing. From medical needs, training to home placement, their number one priority is that pup. When you adopt from The Churchill Foundation you become a member of Lara's family; and don't be surprised to find yourself back for a second or even third family member!
We were first introduced to Churchill Foundation through their Thankful Pups fundraiser for Thanksgiving. Once I started following them on social media, I fell in love with one of their adoptable dogs with mega esophagus. We were quite hesitant to take on a dog with a special need, but after submitting an application and speaking with Lara about this dog, we felt it may indeed still be a great fit for our family, so we took a chance on her!
The support we've had from Lara has been tremendous and we cannot even begin to thank her for the work she does saving dogs who would otherwise not have a chance. Because of her work and dedication, we have Stormi in our family!
We are also taking advantage of the free training for life offered when you adopt through Churchill. It's been such a learning experience not only for our dogs but for my husband and myself who thought we knew more than we did about our furkids!
Lara and Churchill are doing wonderful things in our community. Thank you for making our family complete!
We are so thankful for The Churchill Foundation for bringing out baby girl into our lives. She is truly a blessing that has made our family so much happier. Luna Lovegood AKA Tinsel has become my best friend/emotional support animal because of how intuitive, loving and caring she is. I’ve recommended them to everyone who has asked about where we adopted her from.
The Churchill Foundation is amazing! We adopted a dog from TCF in May and they continue to go above and beyond what they need to do to acclimate Ivy into our household. No words can express how grateful we are to them!
The Churchill Foundation is an awesome rescue! They truly put the needs of the dog first. There are no short cuts when it comes to vetting those being rescued. Whatever it takes!
Next is finding the perfect home! They excel at making sure the people and pet are a perfect fit.
The Churchill Foundation is a rescue you can trust 100%!

The Churchill Foundation is a top notch rescue! They always above and beyond to save dogs. They don’t hesitate to take on challenges in rescue. Especially medical challenges. Some of the toughest medical conditions, The Churchill Foundation takes on and more often than not, is successful.
They are just the best, hands down.
The Churchhill Foundation is an amazing group doing a lot of good for the animals and people in Las Vegas area! Thank you Churchill Foundation!
I have donated products and cash to The Churchill Foundation since its onset because of the transparency provided by its founder, Lara Mirkovich, and her BOD. Any animal in need is introduced with photos and details highlighting services needed. Copies of Veterinary estimates are shown, along with payments made. There is always a direct pay to Vet option with each animal specified. TCF is known also for its outreach to animals in need, both locally and country-wide.
They're commitment to helping Rescues is outstanding. I've gone to a bake sale they've had and enjoyed meeting some of their crew.
Following them on Facebook is a joy. Love, Love all the good work they do!!
I donate to this particular charity because they take the hard dogs the medical dogs the dogs it would definitely be euthanized in shelters this is a fantastic organization please help them
TCF works really hard to place pets in the right home. At first, I couldn't understand why they'd be "so picky," but then I realized how special it is that they want to make sure the animals aren't just adopted... they are adopted by the kind of family that will enjoy having that particular animal in their lives. After being turned down for a pup or two, I was surprised by text about a very lovely girl who has become our family mascot. I am so glad they had us wait for the right match. That's a level of dedication I really respect.
I love how this rescue stays involved with their community! They also take in all kinds of dogs and help with behavioral/ME/etc. They are truly amazing!
Experienced and honest volunteers! This organization also takes on special needs dogs and focuses on the importance of proper training of both the dogs and their owners. Such a great organization and resource for our community!
Churchill was one of my very first facebook "fur friends," reminding me that rescued pets do make great companions. I have donated a couple of times over the years to Churchill and his "family of dog siblings" and will continue to do so.
I've watched Churchill's situation (and his "Mom") grow from an individual trying to get a charitable rescue off the ground out of her home, to the present organisation that helps so many animals who are in the worst of situations in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. I've watched Churchill celebrate birthday after birthday, when he was originally given only 2 years to live due to a heart condition.
To me, that is the greatest proof that this organisation/foundation is founded on a true love of animals and a desire to see them in their best possible homes.
Compassionate and professional team that rescue, foster, medically manage, and screen adoption placements daily.
The Churchill Foundation is an amazingly dedicated and knowledgable rescue! They do so much medical for dogs, and even more behavioral training before they ever ever let a dog be adopted. Lara is so wise with dogs, and uses great trainers and has wonderful fosters who help. Many good rescues take in tons of dogs, and that is compassionate. But Churchill puts so much time and effort into training and understanding a dog’s behavior that they make a change in each dogs life before going to their forever home! ♥️
The Churchill Foundation works tirelessly on behalf of their animals and have far exceeded my expectations in terms of transparency. I have fostered or adopted several dogs through this rescue and they are so supportive and hands-on the entire time. They really are the best!
I’ve been fostering and photographing with Churchill for years! Best rescue in Vegas hands down. They put in the training, medical, and care into the animals and make sure that their rescues go into the best home that fits them and their needs to be successful.
Great rescue!!!! Love them. They care so much about helping the animals. Please support them as much as you can.
Our story with The Churchill Foundation started over the summer of 2018. Our dog of 14 years had died due to old age. You know what they say "the easiest way to get over a death of your fur baby is to get a new fur baby" and that's what we did. We found the posting of a little brindle puppy named "Brayden" on petharbor.com. We instantly fell in love with her. The Churchill Foundation provided us with food, a couple of toys, and some poop bags - which we were grateful for. Once we got her (September), we had this instant connection with her. We decided to name her Athena. She was such a smart pupper. She learned how to sit, shake, speak, laydown, huggies (she would put her arms around our neck and lick us). She had thrown up a couple of times, which we read was normal for puppies. We brought her to a dog park towards the end of October. She had had all her shots and been spayed. She was running and playing with another dog, she was wheezing so bad. We knew something was wrong. We brought her to our vet and they said she had Pneumonia. After about a week or so, we notice it wasn't getting any better and my boyfriend said her tongue looked blue. We rushed her to the vet, as soon as the Dr saw her, they brought her back into an oxygen tank. After us spending $2500 with her being hospitalized, we contacted The Churchill Foundation. We had always been in contact with them, telling them whats going on. We were financially at the end of our rope. Borrowed, used credit cards, good portion of my checks, all went to her. We don't regret it. We would do it all over again if we had to. Anyway, The Churchill Foundation said that they would take her back due to them having the resources to fund raise and get the money Athena needed for treatment. The day that one of volunteers came to pick Athena up from the vet will forever been ingrained in my memory. Even writing this, its hard not to cry.
In the mean time, we decided to foster to possibly adopt Athena's brother Schmidty from the Churchill Foundation. He was different than Athena, but we feel in love with him. We officially adopted him in January. We always held out hope that we could someday readopt Athena, that someday she would be better. Unfortunately, that never came true. After talking with the Churchill Foundation, after seeing her, seeing how her quality of life had deteriorated. We agreed that it was time to let her go. After I saw her that last time, I knew it was time. I wish it was different, but I believe this is how it was meant to happen. Athena touched SO MANY people in her short life. I love talking to people that she encountered, love hearing how much she was loved by others.
This whole experience could have been so much worse if we hadn't gotten her from the Churchill Foundation. They tried literally EVERYTHING they could to make her better. Who else can say that the place they got their brand new puppy, would take that puppy back and try everything to make that puppy better. We will always endorse, recommend, volunteer, donate, to The Churchill Foundation. No matter how much time will pass, they have earned a life long donor and supporter from us.

My boyfriend and I were thinking out getting a new dog after our last one died of old age. My boyfriend found the picture of our puppy and fell in love. This foundation is so great and helpful. They said if we need them to take our puppy to get her shots they will do it for us. I will definitely recommend them to everyone who is looking for a rescue!
Lara and all her volunteers do such an amazing job, unfortunately I have only been able to help twice because of my work schedule. They are so very compassionate
The Churchill Foundation does amazing things for dogs that other rescues may pass up due to medical needs or behavior issues.Their foster and field trip programs rock! Keep up the awesome work TCF!
The Churchill Foundation is full of people that love animals. They make sure that each animal finds the right home, even if it takes awhile. They stand up for what is right and I am proud to call them my family.
How lucky were we to find this rescue foundation! We have adopted two dogs and can't imagine life without them. They were so careful when trying to match our personalities and choose a home best for the dogs and our family. Very fair and made it affordable to adopt.
I follow these guys on Instagram, the passion and love they have for the animals they rescue and rehabilitate is unbelievable. They make sacrifices in their personal lives in order to do what they do. Their work is clearly not easy, but their commitment and work ethic is strong and has amazing results. I've watched animals enter their care in bad shape, but through the work of the Churchill Foundation these animals are enabled to become their happiest, healthiest selves.
A+ guys.
The folks at this organization go above and beyond for dogs who have been given up on. They work with dogs who have been thrown away by others. They take on medical cases no one else will. And when everyone else is worried about getting their own Thanksgiving Dinner done, they are working on giving a Thanksgiving Dinner to the forgotten dogs in our community.
I have fostered for TCF and they go above and beyond for all of the animals in their care. I’ve also alerted them to animals in need and they jump right in to help!
The Churchill Foundation takes on animals that would otherwise not get a chance to find their forever home. Whether major medical issues like heart conditions or behavioral issues TCF is willing to give them a chance. They also offer free training for adopted dogs to make sure the happily ever after is forever! Would highly recommend.
The Churchill Foundation is an amazing organization dedicated to the animals they save! They always put the animals first to do what is best for the animals.
We decided to foster after adopting a dog from the foundation in the fall of 2018. Like the adoption process, fostering with the Churchill Foundation is a first rate experience. They place true trust in their fosters (meaning they don't micromanage) and they respond to all communication in a timely manner. They actively try to place their dogs by taking consistent action (including getting us a local TV spot where we got to gush about our foster, Moxie, and the free training for life that comes with a Churchill dog) while also adhering to high standards when screening applications. In a world where we don't have control of so much, the Churchill Foundation does a superb job in taking control where it can to help dogs get a better life and showing amazing appreciation for their volunteers in the process. Pictured: Moxie, our foster Pitbull Terrier mix.

This organization is everything I wanted in a dog rescue and more. Their communication is exceptionally clear - even when they email about a dog with behavior issues. And it is obvious from the get go that they have systems in place for interacting with potential dog families, are absolute experts at training and they really care about their work. It is thanks to them that we have a rescue dog in our home who has become part of our family.
I've attended their fund raisers and know of their good works. They taken the difficult medical and behavioral issue dogs. These dogs would most likely be euthanized without this amazing group.
Amazing work with all dogs large and small
This rescue works on the most difficult cases and succeeds
I work with ALOT of rescue groups. This group is by far, one of the best. Elite in a sector where so many groups are sub par. The work they put in to each dog is nothing short of amazing. Some dogs wouldn’t have a chance without them stepping up. They are invested in the dogs and the homes they find them FOREVER, for life. Thank you Churchill Foundation for all that you do. Especially for the misfits of the dog world!
I’ve know about this organization since dec 2015 and I have donated to several specific cases but also donated to the organization in general. I’ve met Churchill
The Churchill foundation is always on top of our communities needs. The animals, and even the peoples needs. I have so much respect for this great organization. And they were the rescuers of Groot. Who i loved from a far.
The directors of this nonprofit truly care about the animals and the community. Their emphasis on education and compassion sets them apart. Highly recommend
I had two very sick puppies they flew somebody all the way out to Seattle and picked them up. They are now gaining weight and do so much better. Without the foundations I don’t know what I would have done I could not give them what they needed and I am forever greatfull that they are getting better everyday!
The Churchill Foundstion is absolutely the most transparent rescue I've seen. They take on major medical cases without a second thought. Other than "If we didn't, who else would?" I am.prod to support them and one day will adopt my next baby from them.

TCF is amazing. Their motto "For life" is more than a statement. It's how the rescue is run. Not just lifelong homes and returns (if needed).
Adopters and dedicated volunteers become family. There's no better rescue for a medical case.
They go above and beyond for the medical dogs that end up at the city shelter. I for one strongly admire how far this rescuse has come. Looking forward to seeing the wonderful things ahead.
I have many experiences with TCF and all are amazing. As a foster I've had nothing but support. As a volunteer the same. My greatest gift from them has been adoption. I don't know another rescue that is so involved to avoid failure. They're available for late night calls, panic moments, dog sitting when out of town, all around great.
The Churchhill foundation is nothing short of phenomenal. I have adopted two dogs from them and each process was amazing for not only us but the dogs. The best part is that they think of every detail to a dog being adopted out and not just letting them go to any home. They want to make sure they go to a true forever home. And even after it's all said and done you can reach out for advice or help in training. When you adopt from The Churchill foundation, you become a part of their family.
In 2015 we fostered a cute little guy through The Churchill Foundation. After having him for about 2 months, we decided to adopt him. The Churchill Foundation has been supportive every step of the way, even coming over in 2018 for FREE dog training!!!! They do whatever it takes to make "unadoptable" dogs adoptable. I don't know where my life would be without our Dilly aka Dillinger. The Churchill Foundation, in my opinion, is the BEST rescue group out there. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they do for the animals in our community.
Finn (fka T-Rex) is our sweet boy that we adopted from The Churchill Foundation. He is a pittie, black dog and had a medical issue - the trifecta that would have surely been his death sentence, if not for them.
Our lives have forever been improved by Finn! He is the sweetest, most loving & happy dog we've ever known. He helped the foster dog we had, Groot, become calm and learn how to be a dog. Groot snuggled with him all the time. Finn's older sister, Cinder, is his partner in crime and they both love playing in the river.
Finn has taught many people that just because you're different, doesn't mean you can't do things; you just do them a little differently. He swims with a life jacket, goes camping, and to stores with us, being an ambassador for his breed and adopting dogs with medical needs.
Thank you Lara & Churchill! We will ALWAYS support them.
They may be a small foundation, but they are mighty in heart & impact.
We have fostered numerous dogs forTCF and their dedication to finding the dogs good homes with responsible owners is amazing!!
The Churchill Foundation works tirelessly to give animals in need a chance! I’ve been watching since the start and have seen so many dogs on their last leg be turned around into happy, healthy, loved members of wonderful new families. The founder is a force to be reckoned with and Churchill, the man himself, is a precious, unforgettable inspiration. I love TCF! ❤️
I had the pleasure of working with The Churchill Foundation when they took on the rescue of my favorite shelter dog. TCF is known for handling the rescue of medical and behavioral cases that may be outside of the ability of others. Their skilled and talented members are able to rehabilitate these difficult cases, guiding them into loving homes. As for my favorite dog, now known as Dublin, I rest easier knowing that his needs are well cared for and he has a great quality of life while he waits for a home that will love and embrace his quirks. Thank you for what you do!
The dedication and love Lara and Lauren have for these animals is genuine and palpable. They run a moral, professional, and high-quality nonprofit and I recommend them to anyone looking for a new pet or for training their current baby.
Amazing rescue. Laura and the Churchill rescue puts a lot of work into each and every dog in the rescue. Love their work
The Churchill Foundation is amazing. They have always had what is best for the animal in mind when making important decisions. I have fostered a puppy for them and if I needed anything they were right there. I once found a dog in dire need of help and they stepped up within MINUTES to help. If you are looking for an organization that is 1. Organized 2. Knows what they are talking about and use the best methods to achieve a goal 3. Step up when others look away, and 4. Never compromise their values or the worth of the animal just to get an adopter, look no further!!

This organization is truly incredible! They give chances to dogs that others have looked over due to medical or behavioral needs. They are passionate but also intelligent and know what is best for each individual dog. I can't say enough about this organization. Adopt from them or volunteer for them and you won't regret it!!
I have volunteered and fostered fir this rescue since it's inception, and I have had the best experiences. I have never had an issue getting assistance with foster needs even in an emergency. I also love that due to the types of adopters we can see pupdates about all of their rescue pups now with furever families. The transperancy is a huge plus, especially because this is a rescue that takes medical cases. They are always open about all medical needs, funds brought in, and the needs of the rescue to maintain and sustain. One of the founders of this rescue was foster mom to the pup I ultimately adopted, which is how my involvement began. Now I help when I can because of their beliefs. They support medical causes, provide lifetime training, maintain transparency about costs, and are incredibly honest about the needs of the rescue animal being adopted.
Churchill Foundation is the best! Since the moment I contacted them with questions about our puppy that we adopted they have been amazing. They truly care about the dogs and you can tell they want the best for them. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about adopting a dog.
They are amazing from what they do and who they are! When you adopt, you are not only gaining a pet, but also gaining a family for life. You are never alone and can always go to them for any question, no matter how big or small. I am proud to be part of TCF family and volunteer!
We started as a foster family for the foundation and fell in love with our foster baby. After a few potential homes decided to go with others we decided she fit right in with the rest of our crazy bunch. Will always rescue from them from now on!
I work at a shelter here in Las Vegas and when I see one of our dogs in need getting picked up by the Churchill Foundation I am so happy and relieved. I know that this dog will not just be "flipped " but their needs will be taken seriously and this rescue will do all they can to ensure this animal gets everything they need and all steps will be taken in ensuring the animal is placed in the most suitable and loving home.
I also signed up to foster for them and Laura was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Instead of treating me like something ugly for working at a shelter, she is a supporter of all we do and go through and understands struggles in a shelter as a whole. I can't wait to actually help them out by fostering and be a part of something bigger. I give much love to them.
There are no words to describe our love for TCF!! I have always been a supporter but when I adopted our Daisy from them I became their biggest fan! I can't begin to tell you how wonderful the adoption process was and how well trained and loving our girl is. Laura makes sure all adoptees have all their health cares met and are placed in correct environments. So things run very smoothly. And she is never a stranger in Daisy's life. I highly recommend calling TCF if you are looking for a new family member!
I volunteer for The Churchill Foundation and it never ceases to amaze to amount of care and love all the rescues get. What ever they need, whatever challenges a rescue may be, The Churchill Foundation steps up. Severe medical, behavior, senior dogs that have been surrendered by owners. Doesn't matter, Churchill Foundation will take them, work with them as long as it takes and find perfect home for them no matter how much the cost, the time or the training. Adopters get dogs that are well adjusted and happy. Plus Churchill Foundation is there 'for life' with support, help or whatever is needed. Best rescue EVER!
TCF is truly a life saver for so many pets that would be left for dead bc of age, health conditions, 'aggressive breed' misconceptions, etc. In addition to rescuing & improving the quality of life for so many pets, they also advocate & educate throughout the community.
TCF helped us adopt our little monster who is the sweetest, best behaved, lovable, playful and amazing fur baby! TCF is amazing... Blu had such an amazing foster mom who took the time to train him and turn him into the sweetest pup! He has been the best and the training sessions have been amazing! I'm very glad we chose TCF! Thank you for giving us Blu (Monster, Yoda) :D
The world of animal rescue is full of people with tremendous passion. But, this group also has exceptional expertise that literally saves the lives of some of the most difficult dogs. Dogs whom others have rejected because they misbehaved or were not social. They know how to train and work with these "problem children" and take the time and have the patience that is needed for success.
This group does excellent work with animals that might not otherwise be adopted or have a chance at a great life in a forever home. I've personally fostered for them and will continue to do so to help them keep finding forever homes for the animals bring into their care. I have volunteered for and supported them from the beginning but have been so impressed with their message of "Educate, Advocate, Inspire" and their commitment to rescuing #forlife that I became a member of their Board.
I was very fortunate to be following TCF for a while.
When this Beautiful Creature /Lock needed a home. I was able to get him. And I love him more now than ever. Now he smiles when he sleep's because he's home. Thank you TCF
I have been following TCF for awhile now. I admire the dedication they have for helping shelter dogs with medical issues. Nothing is impossible in the eyes of TCF. The work hard in finding the best medical help and fosters to help the animals they take into their rescue. I have supported in a few fundraisers and love seeing all the creative things they do to help raise awareness in their rescue.
I've been following TCF for a long time now, and I've always admired the hard work they put in! They are so passionate, but they aren't driven on emotion alone like so many other rescues. They have a firm foundation of knowledge and confidence, and they do everything in their power to make sure each and every animal gets the life it deserves.
This year my husband and I adopted from TCF. The process was amazing, we could tell this organization cared deeply about our dog.
I first became aware of The Churchill Foundation at the inception. The founders passion alone was enough to grab my attention. Although, still a relatively new organization, I've watched them grow, flourish and succeed time and time again. What started out as a grass-roots, passion project turned into a way of life for those responsible for making the decisions.
As a donor, it's of the utmost importance to me to know that my hard-earned dollars are going to the cause, and with TCF, I know that is the case. Among their highest priorities is total transparency. Time and time again, with my own eyes, I've seen their bills for their medical dogs, and those bills oftentimes go well into the thousands. Time and time again, I've witnessed the hard work and dedication that goes into raising money to pay their bills and remain in good standing with service providers and specialists.
The bottom line is, I know they're putting my money where their mouths are. The animals taken under TCF's wings are not only cared for, they are WELL cared for. Time, money, effort and lots and lots of love are invested in each and every pet they rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.
I will proudly continue to be a supporter of this fine organization. Their ethics are unquestionable. TCF is truly #forlife!
The Churchill Foundation from inception has gone above and beyond for each of their dogs. They ensure each one is suitable to be adopted. Meaning, they are not only medically taken care of but behaviorally as well. I am honored to be entrusted to assist with the training of the behavioral challenged pups to assure a successful adoption. Many of these dogs would have never been saved if it wasn't for TCF taking them in "for life". I am overjoyed they take the time and do the research to find the best match for each dog that is adopted out. This shows responsibility and truly caring for each life saved. Keep up the great work Churchill, you'll always have the support of Danny's Dogs!
I have followed TCF since it's beginnings. Was totally over the moon in love with Churchill. I have watched them take done of the most challenging pups (medical and behavior) and help them become some of the most loved family members. They also scoop up other critters to save them from the dreaded E word. You should only be lucky enough to have watched Phelps become the boss of his people's after being saved by TCF and sent to be rehabbed by amother great org. Oh the stories of love trumping all!
the thing that amazes me the most about the Churchill Foundation is they take Dogs from the kill shelter that anyone else would look at and say "No way...I'm not taking on that 'burden'.." The lost, sick, scared and hopeless cases.
My Girl is from a rescue Lara previously worked with and to this day she tells me "For Life" when I ask for help and guidance with my Angel.
They never give up or turn their back.
Thank Dog for Churchill Foundation.
The Churchill Foundation does a great job of not just rescuing dogs in need, but ensuring that every dog finds the right forever home. The trial adoption process helps make sure that the dog's personality fits with the family's lifestyle which really helps ensure a successful adoption. The best part is that when you adopt from them you become part of their family which means they continue to check in with you to make sure you have all the tools and resources required to make sure you are the pup's forever home.
The Churchill Foundation is a cause after my own heart. I was once a Co Founder myself to a Bull Breed Rescue is Las Vegas. I know the difference between a badly run organization and a good one.
The Churchill Foundation is better than good, they are AMAZING! I have watched them grow over the course of the years, and I have seen nothing but postive actions.
They serve a great purpose in the Las Vegas Community. I live vicariously through Laura and her team, and give when I can. If you are looking for a good cause to pay it forward, this is it!
I am very proud such a wonderful Rescue is in my home town. I look forward to watching many more accomplishments , and most of all, lives saved!!
Top notch, responsible organization and we adopted Poppy from them for just that reason. They do their due diligence ensuring the adoptee and adopter(s) are a good match, stay in touch, and go out of their way to help in any way possible if their are bumps along the way.
I don't know where I would be in life as Lara and Churchill have been such a big part of myself and my fiance Picos lives.,not to mention every animal and family that this organization has saved and rescued and the hearts they have literally touched. Pico and I have been senior fosters and one foster fail (Mariah was suppose to be a weekend foster sleepover and we never gave her back lol) since day one and we always save one spot on the sofa for any rescue seniors they save. They just don't stand for foster and adopt but also they stand for educationwhich is so important in the community.Maybe one day we will stop seeing all animals I'm our local shelter but especially seniors. The community give back with their dog and cat food pantry for those that need emergency food to the Lukas Angels program that helps those in need of humanly helping their loved one cross the rainbow bridge and the support going through such a difficult time. I am proud to same I'm a Churchill foundation family member.
The organization goes above and beyond in helping to treat, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in the community. Sone of the best people in the rescue community. Doing it all for the right reasons, the animals. Much love for the Churchill Foundation.
This rescue is one the best I have ever dealt with. I have known these people for many years and they are actually the reason I got involved in rescue. Their heart and dedication is what rescue is all about. #forlife
I have seen this foundation grow from its inception and there is no other organization that deserves more praise than TCF. The dedication of the employees and volunteers is beyond measure and I have personally experienced their generosity first hand. Animals that don't have a chance get one when TCF is involved. The unwanted, the unloved, the forgotten all have a place here. I wish I had a million dollars to donate. I wish I could devote all of my time to make sure this organization got everything it needed. I love The Churchill Foundation and all of the people and 4 legged lives they help. Best Ever!!
We adopted Pickles about one year ago from Churchill ,therefore eternally making me the happiest person in the world.
I was on Petfinder and found Pickles. From the day I filled out the application, to when I got approved, Lara was in contact with me close to every day. The process took about 2 weeks. First you speak with the adoption coordinator, then they check your references and then if approved you get to meet the dog. There is also a two week trial to ensure that its the right fit. Don't be intimidated by the process at all.
After adopting Pickles we have been so happy. She can be a diva at times, but she truly is a sweet little creature.
I cannot express in words how amazing The Churchill Foundation is..and it's due to the amazing people involved. They have a great love for animals and people, they give of themselves selflessly to insure the animal finds a forever home.
Adopt a dog from TCF and you will become part of the family. Super fantastic people who are always ready to do anything to help!
TCF is one of my favorite rescue! They works so hard to save life and never gave up saving more animals life. They are a amazing pawsome organization to foster, volunteers, donates and adopt animals from. I want to thanks to TCF to allow me to be part of their family and you all are ROCKs
The Churchill Foundation really takes the time to get to know the animals in their care, and get the necessary medical care as well. They have spared no expense once committed to an animal in their rescue, which is an admirable trait in a rescue.
Not sure if the Churchill foundation helped us rescue our pepper puppy or if we helped them, but none of that really matters anymore because when they say you are part of the Churchill family for life they really mean it. I wanna say it's been 2 years now since pepper has been in our home. She started as a foster since we already had 2 of our own but after a few months of possible adopters meeting her and deciding on another pup we couldn't take it anymore and decided to make her our 3rd child. To this day we can contact the Churchill team if we need anything and they are right there to help. Thanks for letting us be part of the family. Peppers siblings Dotty and Rocky say thanks Church fo all you do.
