The Sisters bring so much joy to our community it’s almost unreal! But above and beyond the much needed joy and merriment they are fearless advocates and expert community organizers capable of rapidly responding to threats, bigotry, marginalization and oppression as it presents itself and gleefully speaking truth to power and humbling the holier-than-thous.
They raise and distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to underfunded organizations and projects serving underserved and marginalized communities. They serve the poor, the sick, the vulnerable etc. through their various ministries and promote harm reduction strategies to those at risk with zero judgement.
Each Sister takes lifelong vows to promulgate, universal joy, expiate stigmatic guilt, strive for enlightenment, and serve the community for life. They embrace, elevate and celebrate those other traditions have historically condemned and ostracized. They may not be Catholic nuns, but The Sisters are nuns in their own right and they take their callings very seriously!
A true blessing if there ever was one!
Thank you, Sisters! You are deeply appreciated and cherished. May you continue your ministry indefinitely!
