I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to Bailey (aka Saturn). I adopted her last April and she is a joy to me and every one she meets. She is such a sweet loving dog. Thank you.
Me and my family wanted to adopt one of their doggos and they denied us because we are living in a apartment until May when we will be moving into a house! It took them days to respond and when I finally get a message back we get a denial. Our family was ready to give our full attention and all the love we could give this precious dog and we get denied because we are temporarily living in a apartment. I don't think that was fair and I bet that if their sponsor knew about this they wouldn't be happy! Shame on Pawsitive Difference for denying a dog to have a forever home. Also this poor baby has been in a kennel for a very long time is what they stated. Shame on you!
My mother's dog passed away and I wanted to get her another one to keep her from having such a broken heart. I went to Petsmart Summerlin on a Sunday morning looked at a few puppies but one stood out to me even though I was warned that he is a jumper, a little bit aggressive and someone had him for less than 24hrs then returned him so yes it was a bit challenging I thought but I decided to take a chance and so grateful I did!!
He is so loving and listens very well just a natural, not sure why the other person didn't give him a chance but good for me and my mother!!
The adoption itself was fine, everything was good. Then, we waited for a follow up regarding vaccinations. And waited. So I reached out and was told I would be contacted that day. Then, not having heard anything, a week later I reached out and finally got the information I needed. Today, my girlfriend goes to take our puppy for his vaccinations, and we were told the wrong opening time of the vaccination clinic. Just a generally unprofessional experience after an otherwise good adoption.
I can't say enough about PD. It's one thing to take in easily adoptable healthy puppies but I have seen 1st hand the # of senior dogs & ones with medical & behavioral issues that this organization has helped. They have never refused to help a dog when I have asked. They genuinely care about helping animals. I encourage everyone who is able to foster, do so. It is extremely hard to part with a dog when they get adopted but it's rewarding to know that you were a part of saving a life.
I have fostered for pawsitive difference before and you will never meet a greater bunch of dedicated people. The love and care they give they're animals is truly amazing. I also gave my Bella and Frankie their forever home with me through them. Annette and her team are always there to answer any questions I have.
