They kept the amputees alive with their charity work during the Ebola crisis and the sad thing is they go unnoticed or funded.
They work hard and have touched the lives of many people. I donate to this charity but not enough of the Sierra Leonean community does.
A charity for those affected during a civil war divided Sierra Leone and create anarchy along tribal and regional lines. This mission has stand the test of time by providing for those directly affected with education and medical facilities. The amputees are part of society and we should care for them Mequosh mission are the champions.
A charity dedicated to advocating on behalf of the the marginalised and forgotten war amputees. Dedicated and committed to recognising that disability does not equal inability. Keep up the tireless great work, and you will achieve the recognition you deserve.
Wonderful and caring. Melquosh has bee a joy to work with. Their commitment is powerful and long standing.
The team is doing a great job for targetted group.
There's much to be done by the Government which MELQOSH hasn't got the funds e.g disabled access to facilities.
The only charity I know that mot only help, but stands up for and give a voice out on behalf of amputees in Sierra Leone. Given the means, the will be able to do greater things.
An amazing charity working very hard over the last 10 years to give war amputees in Sierra Leone confidencem dignity and a voice to speak out about issues affecting them.
The Founder and C.E.O. – Faith Okrafo-Smart is passionate and dedicated to make a difference in the life of the amputees and works extremely hard to make their voice heard.
She is backed by a team of commitee members and supporters who encourage and help her to fuel the mission of the organisation in implement development strategies for education, health, trade and employment specifically for physically challenged and war afflicted amputees.
The charity is very transparent and we continue to understand some of the challenges and successes through the regular updates on social medid, newsletter and articles in various press. The fouder has been recognised for her efforts by the various awards she has received. I wish the charity more success in making a difference in the lives of so many.
