I work with CSI Uganda and truly enjoy my role in the organization as Program Coordinator. Helping mothers when we do free cervical cancer screenings and when we give away childbirth kits. I mostly enjoy working with girls and encouraging them to go to school and learn. In Uganda, many girls don't get the opportunity to learn, so when I see myself talking to girls about menstruation and helping them stay in school, I feel great.

In 2013 when CSI was established, we envisioned a growing organization--saving lives of mothers and children, empowering youth and impacting communities. When the CSI Board reviews the work accomplished since 2013, it is humbling because CSI is headed in the right direction and growing to reach the unreached. CSI is in three countries - Tanzania, Uganda and Nigeria. This work wouldn't be possible without the generous contributions from individuals and funding from Rotary International. Together = Progress for #Humanity. CSI Founders.
Thank you, CSI team for reaching out to all women, girls and children of different backgrounds. Your work has changed and saved lives.Keep up the great work.
It is wonderful and inspiring to see an organization like CSI with committed staff and volunteers helping to strengthen the services we provide to pregnant women and newborns. Verily, the childbirth kits help the mothers but also my staff because many times we don't have sufficent medical supplies in-stock. Thank you CSI.
As a young man, championing causes for women and girls in my community by working with CSI, it has been an eye-opening experience for me. I hope to continue working with CSI and bring change to help women and girls.

Childbirth Survival International is truly making the world a better place one person at a time. They have such a wonderful staff of knowledgeable and kind people.
Hi...I am proudly to be among of the male who stands to speak about maternal, new born and adolescents health issues in a community.
CSI Tanzania team have been helping people through programs like school program, girl talk girl power and now a team prepares some safe motherhood workshops in Tanzania which helps mothers to know what are the important issues during pregnancy, in delivery and after delivery.
CSI organized a workshop of safe motherhood on 2nd April 2016 at Ukonga Ilala, Dar es salaam and one hundred pregnant women invited and during workshop they get skills and knowledge of best nutritional requirements and understanding of risks signs during pregnancy period.
We reach to unreached and we will still help a community for their well-being.
Dear CSI team,

This is a home for young people, mostly age delivering mothers, not only in advocating for safe delivery and provision of delivery kits to expectant mothers but Childbirth survival international has supported in skillful skilling of girls ,through sports, community volunteering and sensitization on family planning as well as supporting sex education to marginalized girls in communities through giving out sanitary towels and pads.
CSI Team has showed they really care about the people. I have seen them give out the mama kits and they stop at every woman's bedside in labor&delivery to check on them, and make sure nurses know how to use the kits. God bless you CSI.

As a volunteer I'm impress on what CSI has done on helping women and children in Tanzania. I believe the organization will keep helping the maternal mothers to increase pregnancy survival rates which is what CSI is doing in Tanzania. Great job guys!
There are so many mothers out there who do not have the support they need to survive or provide for their children. This organization does this and also offers hope to these women.
Hallo, me I am in Tanzania. I want to say asanteni sana watu wa Childbirth Survival International. Mmetu saidia sana na vifaa vya hospitali. Mungu awabariki.
Childbirth Survival International has an amazing team of volunteers. I am inspired by all CSI has already accomplished and excited to see what the future has in store!
I would simply say, that nothing is beautiful and fulfilling like touching someone's life as CSI does! When you save a mother and baby, you're saving and building a nation altogether. Thank you CSI for building a healthy nation!
Soon we shall be waking up to the decrease of death in pregnant mothers and unborn babies. Organizations like CSI that do a terrific job in seeing this happening one day. We need more of CSI in the world.
This cause is near and dear to my heartm I believe that nearly every African family is affected by this issue, if not directly then through a distant relative. I am just touched to be part of this cause, even by a small contribution. It might be in a small way but lives are trully being touchef through CSI. I encourage for those that a not yet involved to take the time and see what CSI has done thus far. You might think your contribution is small, but a little does go a long way. Thanks CSI.
CSI continues to prove that a nonprofit doesn't have to be so big to make a difference, just good enough! CSI so far has made a huge difference in the lives of so many mothers and children. I know they have a long way to go, however by the fact that they are improving one life at a time, mission and goal accomplished. All this with minimal donations, next time I hear of someone or organization looking to make a donation, CSI is you are going to be highly recommended..... Great job and keep up the good work, many lives depend on it!!!!
Thank you
Amazing selfless people simply doing all they can to help others! Health for all can only be attained with spirit like this. Pat yourself on the back and keep on inspiring CSI.
Volunteering with CSI has been a wonderful experience. I feel good when I see the girls light up with excitement when we distribute sanitary pads for free at the end of the Girl Talk, Girl Power session. I definitely feel good knowing I have touched their lives.
When i first learnt about this organisation. I was abit not sure of what they really did.till when i made enough research.i must tell you this people have done a very great job in East Africa its so amazing.keep doing this u have saved lives.given hope and given education to the poor people of Africa am so proud of you keep doing what your doing be blessed
A very worthy cause is being met by this organization. The updates are a good indicator that a difference is actually being made
CSI have done a tremendous job helping the disadvantaged expectant mothers get the care the need. With little donations CSI is getting, they have gone over and beyond in providing the health services and save lives of mothers and babies.
It is a worthy organization.
My financial contributions to support CSI's initiatives have been small, and no matter the contribution, it is always appreciated and I receive updates to show me the impact of my contribution. As a donor, it's reassuring.
