Mission: Prevent Child Abuse Delaware''s mission is to inspire others to engage with us in social change efforts that assure that all children have the opportunity to grow up free from abuse and neglect.
Target demographics: To inspire others to engage with us in social change efforts that assure that all children have the opportunity to grow up free from abuse and neglect.
Programs: PCAD provides prevention education programs to school age children on personal safety and child abuse. PCAD has also implemented a successful Bully Prevention program in select area schools. PCAD also offers training on a variety of issues related to child abuse and child welfare. Training workshops are offered to childcare providers, foster parents, teachers, home visitors and a variety of other childwelfare professionals.PCAD is involved in advocacy and public awareness campaigns that bring attention to the important message of child abuse prevention.
